Features

Built from how the work actually goes

Every plan includes all of this. There are no tiers of features and nothing to buy separately — the only thing that changes between plans is how many people you have.

Jobs

One record per job holding everything anyone needs to find: the prints, the photos, the material specs, what's left on the punch list and what it's costing.

  • Job numbers — auto-increment from whatever number you're already up to, or override per job
  • Prints — upload a PDF and it's split into pages your crew can swipe through on site
  • Photos — taken on the phone, filed against the job, viewable from the office the moment they upload
  • Material specs — the denotation fields your trade uses, shaped by a template you control
  • Punch lists — add an item with a photo, tick it off when it's done
  • Cost tracking — estimate against actual for labor and materials, per job
  • Clients — jobs sit under the GC or customer they belong to

Crew scheduling

Build the day, send it, and stop fielding "where am I tomorrow" texts at nine at night.

  • Assign by day — put a crew member on a job for a date, drag to reorder who leads
  • Send the schedule — one action pushes it to everyone on it, with a record of when it went
  • Four-week lookahead — a board showing what's confirmed, what's projected and what's still in the backlog
  • Time off — requests come in, you approve or deny with a note, and the schedule reflects it
  • Calendar — company-wide and personal entries, with reminders

Time tracking Optional

Hours come off the phone and onto the timesheet against the right job, so payroll isn't a Thursday-night archaeology project. How they get there is your choice — two modes, and you can change your mind later.

  • Clock in and out from the app, on the job, in a couple of taps
  • Or no check-in at all — in schedule-based mode the hours come from the schedule you already built. Nobody clocks in, and no location is recorded anywhere
  • Timesheet — hours by employee and by job, ready to export into payroll
  • Works with no signal — entries queue on the phone and sync when service returns, keeping their original times
  • Late syncs flagged — an entry that synced hours after the fact is marked for you to review

Location, plainly Optional

The question every crew asks before they'll use anything like this, answered properly rather than buried in a privacy policy.

  • There is no GPS tracking. Nobody is followed, no movements are logged through the day, and there is no map of where your people are
  • Two stamps a shift. Tapping clock in notes where that tap happened; tapping clock out does the same. Hours apart, with nothing recorded in between
  • Think of it as the timestamp's twin — one records when, the other records where, both attached to that one entry
  • The app cannot watch anyone. It requests location only while it is open, so a closed app records nothing
  • Optional entirely — schedule-based mode records no location at any point
  • Who sees it — the same office staff who already see the timesheet. It goes nowhere else and is never sold

Change orders

The feature that pays for the subscription. Extra work gets written down and signed while everyone still agrees what happened.

  • Written on site — a foreman can raise one from the app without calling the office
  • Signed on the screen — full-screen signature capture, on the phone, right there
  • PDF generated automatically and emailed to the customer contact on signature
  • Totals roll up — signed and unsigned change order values per job and across the company

Communication

Work conversation that stays with the work, instead of scattered across personal phones.

  • Messages — direct and group threads, with photos
  • Company-wide announcements — reach everyone at once, permission-gated so not just anyone can
  • Push notifications — schedule changes, messages, time-off decisions and calendar reminders
  • Crew directory — everyone in the company, tap to call or text, colour-coded by role

Reporting

Numbers while the job is still running, not after the last invoice clears.

  • Job profitability — estimate against actual, labor and materials
  • Employee hours — by person, by job, over any period
  • Crew utilization — who's loaded and who isn't
  • Change order summary — what's been raised, what's signed, what it's worth

The mobile app

iOS and Android. Built for someone wearing gloves in a basement with one bar — and for the owner who is not going back to the office to move a crew.

  • Offline first — clock-ins, punch items and photos queue up with no signal and sync when it returns
  • Original timestamps preserved — a punch that syncs at 4pm still says it happened at 6:52am
  • Today's work on open — where they're going, with a tap through to directions
  • Prints on site — pinch-to-zoom through PDF pages without going back to the truck
  • Toolbox — trade calculators for the arithmetic that happens on a tailgate

Running it from your phone

The app isn't only for crew. If you have the permission, you can run the day from the truck — the same actions as the dashboard, on the screen you already have on you.

  • Build the schedule — assign crew to jobs for any date, without opening a laptop
  • Send it — push the day's schedule to everyone on it, from the app
  • Announce to the company — reach everyone at once when a site closes or weather turns
  • Raise a change order and capture the signature there and then
  • Manage the punch list — add items with photos, close them out as they're done
  • Locked to who should have it — every one of these is permission-gated, so a crew member never sees the controls

Roles and permissions

A crew member and an office manager open the same app and see two different things, which is the point.

  • Five roles — owner, admin, office manager, field supervisor, crew
  • Per-feature permissions — set the default for a role, then override it for one person
  • Your company only — every record is scoped to your company and no query crosses that line
  • People deactivate, not delete — someone leaves and their history stays attached to the jobs they worked
